New wiki of industry terminology

There is a new encyclopedia (or "wiki") of terms online sponsored by the Gases and Welding Distributors Association (GAWDA). It's called GAWDAwiki. http://www.gawdawiki.org/gwiki/index.php/Main_Page
The wiki is interactive, which means you can use it as a reference, add new terms and definitions, or add more information to existing terms. Please take a look at it and see what you think. It's a great tool for beginners and pros!

AS9100 - Rev B - parag. 7.5.2 c) Control of special processes

Parag. 7.5.2 c) use of specific methods and procedures : "Control of the significant operations and parameters of specisl processes in accordance with documented process specificatins and changes thererto"

My question is: do we need to record the actual mesurement for the significant operations and parameters or
a "Accpetable " or "Rejected" is sufficient at a Inspect Operation.?

Thanks a lot for your input

ISO/TS16949 and software suppliers

We are ISO/TS16949 certified semiconductor company since many years. We deliver products to both automotive and non automotive industry. More and more our products content software (like microcontrollers) or we even deliver software directly to our customers in addition to product (e.g. platforms + development software).
It is unclear what the rules are for our software suppliers (subcontractors) : should they be ISO/TS16949 certified or just compliant or only ISO9001 certified.
Same question applies for our internal organizations or sites delivering software to our business groups.

NADCAP Audits

I am just getting involved with SAE/PRI and the NADCAP Certifications. Has anyone worked with these folks in the past and what are the key areas that I should focus on?

Evaluation of Registrars ISO 9001

Our firm is in the initial process of selecting a registrar for the ISO 9001:2008 certification. Is there a recent survey available that provides a comparison of the various auditors? I found a survey but it appears to be from nearly a decade ago and I'd rather utilize a study that is more recent/relevant.

Looking for directory of all ISO certified companies

Is there any electronic source of ISO certified companies out there? I used to receive this from World Preferred years ago but they have since discontinued.

Thanks!
