Using a Surtronic roundness instrument, Moreno completed the measurement of five precision bearings, in tolerance and including loading and setup, in a staggering 77.77 seconds—a time well worth the iPod competition prize. Moreno, like other competitors, had a brief product overview before his attempt. Five other contestants registered times of under 100 seconds.
