(Dimensional Metrology Standards Consortium: Arlington, TX) -- The new DMIS Output Tools are inexpensive and easy-to-use reporting tools. The DMIS Output Tools application offers a simple set of data reporting and export capabilities based on standard DMIS output files.
Its key features include:
Result summary:
The summary function gives you a quick view of the overall result picture for the selected output file and provides access to each result in summary form. A drop-down list shows all results and their error status.
Single-run reports:
The single-run reports provide text and scale-based output showing various views of the results. The summary preview shows actual, nominal, and deviation text along with the amount of tolerance used, in the form of scales and text. The short- and full-text reports are similar to the classic coordinate measurement machine (CMM) report but allow more configuration options with regard to the content and format. All text reports are available directly from the applications interface or via the command line, allowing users to automate printing of reports after inspection.
Statistics reports:
The statistics reports provide simple feedback regarding the state of the manufacturing process without the need for complex parsing and database storage. Just select the output files you would like to examine and get a preview of the relevant statistics report (X bar and R, X bar and S, individual and moving range, and median).
Result export:
Results can be saved to other files in a variety of formats using the result export dialog. The dialog provides control over the content and format of the data that will be saved and can be used in single run or historical mode from the application interface or command line.
