(Zontec: Cincinnati) -- A dozen new software features, enhancements, and program improvements have been added to Version 8.0 of Zontec’s Synergy 2000 SPC (statistical process control) software.
Synergy 2000 is used for enterprisewide quality improvement by monitoring and reacting in real time to process variation during production and inspection. The software is a highly effective tool for ensuring product consistency, preventing defects, reducing manufacturing costs, and complying with contract requirements.
The new features in Synergy 2000 streamline many routine program operations, making these tasks much more efficient, and adding greater usability to the software. Among the enhancements are faster setup options for parts, processes, and quality characteristics, and templates that assist in the creation of ID and note tags for traceability, assignable causes, and corrective actions.
Synergy 2000 runs on all Windows operating systems from Windows 98 to Windows 7.
All purchases of Synergy 2000 software placed on or after October 1, 2009 will be processed as Version 8.0 orders, and existing users under the annual service agreement plan will automatically receive the 8.0 program update at no charge.
