The International Society of Six Sigma Professionals will hold its fifth annual leadership conference June 2-4 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Keynote speakers at the event include W. James McNerney Jr., 3M chairman and CEO; Stephen Covey, author of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People (Simon & Schuster, 1990); and Sheila Thorne, an expert on multicultural issues. Interactive presentations, break-outs, special interest sessions and roundtable discussions span topics including IT value capture, customer and growth, product development, deployment strategies and leadership.
"Veteran Six Sigma business professionals and newcomers will benefit from this exceptional opportunity to meet and interface with high profile leaders, learn about optimal Six Sigma deployment and examine its integration with other business practices," says Roxanne O’Brasky, ISSSP president. "Many people are attending the entire conference, but single-day registration is also popular. If you attend only one conference this year, this should be the one."
The event promises to draw professionals from across the country and around the world, including representatives from DuPont, Raytheon, 3M, Dow Chemical Co., Bank of America, Johnson & Johnson and Seagate Technology. "This high-energy conference will focus on how businesses across a spectrum of industries can apply Six Sigma principles to adopt more powerful processes and generate better results," adds O’Brasky.
