Event: ITAR/EAR Simplified for Aerospace Suppliers

ITAR/EAR and Nadcap: The toughest challenges in aerospace?

(Performance Review Institute: Warrendale, PA) -- The penalties for failure to comply with ITAR/EAR regulations are severe and understanding the regulations can be costly. PRI, in partnership with Export Solutions, has simplified export control with proposed solutions at breakeven costs.

In response to industry feedback, on December 9 and December 10, 2009, PRI's professional development program eQuaLearn partners with Export Solutions to launch a new webinar for the aerospace industry called "ITAR/EAR and the Nadcap Audit". US government ITAR/EAR regulations must be complied with but many companies find them confusing and difficult to apply. This two-hour session aims to address that by covering topics such as:

  • Overview of ITAR/EAR regulations
  • Impact of ITAR/EAR regulations on the Nadcap audit
  • Pre- and post-Nadcap audit expectations relating to ITAR/EAR

"Customer feedback highlights a serious lack of understanding of ITAR/EAR regulations," explains Arshad Hafeez, director of global business operations at PRI. "Through this partnership, the aim is to address non-compliance and reduce massive global implications."

With input and approval from quality industry leaders such as Alcoa, SAE International, Goodrich, Honeywell Aerospace and Rolls-Royce plc, eQuaLearn offers professional development courses in subjects such as internal auditing, root cause and corrective action, and introduction to pyrometry.
