(MoreSteam.com: Denver) -- On Wed., May 23, 2012, MoreSteam.com, a global provider of online lean Six Sigma training and blended learning technology, and Air Academy Associates, a recognized leader in delivering client results through various improvement methodologies, will sponsor a one-day executive briefing on design excellence.
This no-cost educational and networking event is open to process improvement executives and deployment leaders interested in networking, discussing excellence in design, and sharing best practices. The conference, held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Conference Center at Waltham Woods in Boston, will feature practical presentations and workshops intended to help organizations to harness proper design methods and techniques for their products, processes, and deployments.
The Boston metropolitan area is home to a rich collection of service, health care, and manufacturing organizations that are committed to continuous improvement in process and product design. With increasingly tight travel budgets and the absence of events dedicated to this area of expertise, these organizations have limited options when it comes to meeting, benchmarking, and learning about design excellence. In recognition of this state, MoreSteam and Air Academy, along with Fresenius Medical Care North America and Covidien, will deliver a solid agenda of presentations geared to engage and inform local process improvement executives and designers.
The morning program will feature key lean Six Sigma leaders from Raytheon, Covidien, and Fresenius Medical Care. Each will chair different aspects of design in manufacturing, health care, and services. In the afternoon, participants can choose from one of two interactive design workshops from MoreSteam.com and Air Academy Associates. Breakfast and lunch are included, and the event will conclude with a post-event early evening networking reception.
This executive briefing is open to all continuous improvement professionals and managers. Registration is capped at the first 50 attendees, and the hosts expect a full audience. Individuals interested in attending the event can visit the event information site.
