Baldrige Conference Provides Path for Those on “Quest for Excellence”

2009 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award winners share their journey.

(NIST: Gaithersburg, MD) -- Learn about the exceptional performance management practices and results of the 2009 recipients of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award at the Quest for Excellence XXII, April 12–14, at the Hilton Washington in Washington, D.C.

The 2009 Baldrige Award recipients —listed with their category—are:

  • Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies, Kansas City, Missouri (manufacturing)
  • MidwayUSA, Columbia, Missouri (small business)
  • AtlantiCare, Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey (health care)
  • Heartland Health, St. Joseph, Missouri (health care)
  • VA Cooperative Studies Program Clinical Research Pharmacy Coordinating Center, Albuquerque, New Mexico (nonprofit)

 

Throughout the three-day conference, senior leaders and others from the 2009 Baldrige Award recipients and former recipients will present and answer questions on their processes, tools, and results in areas such as leadership, strategic planning, and customer and employee engagement. Two preconference workshops on April 11 will help attendees better understand how to use the Baldrige criteria for innovation and performance excellence as a tool to assess and improve their organization.
