This year’s jury of the EFQM Excellence Award comprises, among others, the CEOs and senior executives of BT Global Services, EDF, and Bouygues, as well as high level representatives from the public sector. Through the entire process of award assessment, which involves a site visit from an international group of experienced assessors, true role model organizations are sought after and identified. While all applicants are organizations of high caliber, only a small group are awarded a finalist distinction. This year’s finalists demonstrate a strong representation in the automotive sector of the private industry and in the public sector (education, health care, and local government).
EFQM has spent more than 20 years sharing what works between its member organizations to help them implement their strategies. Through a network of more than 700 active members, comprising companies of every size and sector, EFQM applies its knowhow and extracts outstanding approaches by engaging with executives and front-line managers.
