Sypris Consolidates Maryland and New Jersey Calibration Labs

Sypris Test & Measurement recently consolidated its calibration laboratory in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, with its new facility in Sayreville, New Jersey. The New Jersey lab, which is A2LA-accredited, has the unique capability to do fiber optic calibrations and RF calibrations to 26.5 GHz, and to perform power sensor calibrations, EVM, FSK, and CDMA digital modulation, reflection magnitude and phase. Additional capabilities expected early this year include RF/isotropic field probe calibrations to 50 GHz and antenna calibrations to 50 GHz with full RF capabilities extended to 50 GHz.

“Sypris’ financial strength allowed us to design and build the New Jersey facility to accommodate Maryland branch customers with high-end electrical calibration needs,” says Derrell James, Sypris Test & Measurement general manager. “The recently constructed New Jersey lab is four times larger and offers unique capabilities not offered at the Maryland facility.
