(DCS: Troy, MI) -- Dimensional Control Systems Inc. (DCS), a provider of quality management software solutions and consulting services, will hold its 2012 Global Technology & User Conference (GTC) on May 22–23, 2012, in Detroit at the historic Atheneum Suite Hotel.
Nearly 100 participants are expected from the DCS customer base. Participants will include those who benefit from dimensional engineering-based quality management processes and tools. The conference is a forum for these like-minded quality and engineering professionals to network, share industry trends, and learn best practices in the use of advanced quality management solutions.
Conference speakers, including DCS management and technical leaders as well as key customers—bring a wealth of knowledge about robust design processes and the integration of tolerance analyses and quality data management into those processes.
Technical experts will show how creative applications of the DCS quality management technologies can address a wide array of product development and quality issues.
Customer presenters will include representatives from a wide range of OEMs, including General Motors, Chrysler, Daimler, and Jaguar Land Rover, as well as Boeing, Embraer, Airbus, and Bombardier, and the ITER international nuclear fusion research and engineering project. They will present real-life case studies of how DCS quality management tools are helping their companies speed product development and better manage the cost of quality during manufacturing.
“By optimizing their use of quality management tools and methods, manufacturers in all industries can effectively meet quality and cost targets while speeding up new product turnaround times,” says DCS COO John Mathieson. “We are honored to have such a great cast of speakers willing to give a glimpse into how their own companies are improving quality through the use of sound dimensional engineering principles.”
