An upcoming conference in India will explore quality principles in the health care industry. “Quality Health Care in a Changing Environment: Opportunities & Challenges,” will be held in Mumbai, India, Feb. 5–6. It’s being organized by Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, in collaboration with Nuffield International Health and Development Group, and the University of Leeds. The conference will take place at Jivraj Mehta Lecture Theatre at Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital. It will include sessions on performance indicators, patients’ perspective, communication, human resource development, networking and financing health care. Post-conference workshops include examinations of good laboratory practices, good prescribing practices and communication skills.
