I'm a fairly recent newcomer to SPC...have taken various courses, read books, etc. Now is my 1st opportunity to apply it in a "real life" situation...where do I start! Application is in a machine shop/job shop (CNC & manual operations). We produce some fairly high-end/tight tolerance parts for many various industries. Can anyone offer any advice on getting started, logical sequence of steps, etc? At this point, data will have to be gathered manually...do not have enough direct input/SPC devices. (Although we currently have SQCPack software...not yet in use.)HELP!
