We are trying to implement SPC in a batch process. Is short-run SPC the
best fit for this? Currently, we have 3 reactors feeding the same
(theoretically) material to a single "holding tank". Our goal is to reduce
the variation in the material going to the "holding tank". We are currently
using conventional SPC on each individual reactor and simply run charting
the "holding tank". Inputs and outputs are the same for each reactor - the
only differences are in the processing.
