At the end of clause 7.6 there is a note to "see ISO 10012-1 and ISO 10012-2 for guidance." I do not interpret this to mean we have to comply with the content of these 2 standards to meet ISO 9001:2000 requirements. They are referenced for guidance if we want to enhance/supplement our current system.

I would appreciate any opinions others may have on this.
