› Flow Charts - controlled documents

We have different levels of "work instructions" in our QMS. One type is Flow Charts. They typically detail a step by step process for using our MRP system and how to navigate the screens within the MRP system. I am trying to establish the level of controlled required for these types of Flow Charts, ie. revision controlled, "reference only", or incorporate them into written work inspotrucitons or procedures? Any feedback would be appreciated.

There are a number of ASTM methods for force testing that often accomplish much the same thing. The readings will be in pounds rather than torque, so you may have to develop and validate a conversion formula. May I suggest you locate an accredited force testing lab that has a P.E. on staff? That is likely the single best source to get exactly the help you need. You should be able to find an accredited lab through either the IAS (http://www.iasonline.org) or A2LA (http://www.a2la.org) websites.

Hope this helps.
