I am not absolutely sure this is the best place to post this question as it is in regards of the auditing process itslef. I does not deal with any certification process. However, as I do not see any other forum for this type of question I will post it here; if you know of any better place/ forum, please point me in the right direction.

In the process of my AS9100 re-certification I was suggested to implement process as well as product audits. All my expirience is in regular internal audits that go through the ISO standard, and part by part evaluates that specific department or operation in as many departments as it covers and compares what is being done against what the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) states.

However, I am not sure how to implement a process audit that covers my entire "production?" process, or a product audit. I am not sure if there is any standard in how to perform these type of audits, or whether someone could share some light, and example, in how to perform these.

I am not sure if this forum allows to post any documents, but if it does, actual documentation would be greatly appreciated as means of example.
