I am trying to find someone in USA or anywhere else, who now uses six sigma tools, generally per Pyzdek's "Six Sigma Handbook" in a systematic way to improve order response from business to business direct mail. I have been doing this for 15-20 years, not under the Six Sigma rubric, but using many of the accepted tools and statistics of six sigma. My purpose is to create a benchmark group with anyone who is willing to exchange number data, in a non-competitive field. Mine is university continuing education

For your calibration procedures, I suggest going to GIDEP (http://gidep.corona.navy.mil). Military procedures are available for the types of gages you have, unless it is exceptionally exotic. The military procedures are considered validated, and should save you a ton of work.
Don't forget that for your external calibration needs, you should use a calibration provider accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, with a scope that matches what you need.
