The Occupational Health & Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) includes OHSAS 18001, which is a specifications standard for an occupational health & safety management system, and OHSAS 18002, which provides guidelines for implementing an OHSMS. They were developed by a "working party" of international standards bodies and major registrars. OHSAS 18001 and OHSAS 18002 are available from the British Standards Institution, and the best source for information on ordering them is from BSI's web site (www.bsi.org.uk).
