I am not an expert on the health care insurance industry, but everyone on your payroll is (in their own area of specialization). My suggestion is to require (or at least strongly encourage)everyone to come up with one idea per month. The ideas do not have to be huge leaps forward--just improvements,,,ideas that they can mostly implement themselves after getting concurence from their supervisor. At the Dana Corporation, each employee, all the way to the top, participates by contributing two improvement ideas per month!I personally know of a Japanese company that requires five improvement ideas per month!
