For the engineering/design services company which they don't perform/produce/realise the product. How can they validated their design ? Because may be this company only performing the concept design such FEED (Front End Enginering Design).

What is the meaning of terminology "validation" in this context ?

If we read ISO 9004, it provide us the a little bit of description "Partial validation of the design and dev. output may be necessary to provide confidences in their future".
Is it represent what validation mean in ISO 9000 family ?
