Quality Digest

I've heard that it is a standard for visual inspection. Stand 6 feet from object, if you can't see the blemish
it is acceptable. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS STANDS TRUE? I work in metal fabrication we build cabs for various companies and the milltary.
