Quality Digest

The company I work with do not have any qualified personnel to conduct calibration, nor do we have an environment (temperature, humidity etc) condusive for calibration activities. Our measuring and monitoring tools are sent to external calibration companies for calibration services. My question here is : Does the Calibration Coordinator (the central person who sends and receive the tools, tracks the due dates for calibration and keep the calibration certificate) be trained in calibration? If yes, what training would be appropriate? Thank you.
