I'm somewhat new to the wonderful arena that is quality software, though certainly not unfamiliar with some of the better know quality methodologies.

I'm trying to locate an off the shelf software package that will allow a QC Department to review an Application Processing Unit's work. The "work" involves receipt of a completed paper form and the subsequent entry of data from the form to the system of record. The movement of data from paper form to system of record is not 1:1 and does require validation against standard rules by the application processor.

The ideal software application will include the logic to calculate a statistically valid sample size and contain a form for use by the QC Analyst to enter the results of their audits.

Output will include detailed and summary (graphical) reporting. Root cause analysis features are a plus.

Hopefully this is enough information for folks to make a few recommendations.
