Comparing manufacturing facilities within USA can be too broad. There are certain industries where even 25% yield is acceptable because the technology is in infancy. These data can skew your inference. Comparing within your nature of industry and size of the organization may provide more meaningful inference.
Iam not aware of a standard, however, I would interpret your requirement as "benchmarking". There are benchmarking websites available with premium membership.
