Quality Digest

We occasionally turn external threads at customers' request. I am in the position of trying to interpret the drawings and provide the proper wire size and subsequent measurements needed for our operators before they remove the product from the lathe.

Is there software that can provide the proper answers based on simple input by the operator. I intend to create a generic inspection plan that is available 24-7 and the answers also need to be available 24-7. If no such software available, where do I look for a more user friendly source on thread measurements than the machinist handbook?
