In my point of view you do need make a diagnosis of the areas that you think need improvement,and also based in hystorical data. Make a plan with all the associates involved in the process and managment, it is in order to get ideas and opinions. And then after the diagnosis you should analyze with the team the folowing factors: Human resources (work environment and motivation, training), cost associates, customer satisfaction, and the impact of them in the sales. All these topics are based and documented in your quality system and standards.
