Our company is a manufacturer of automotive plastic parts and we're working towards QS-9000 Certification. During our Preliminary Evaluation by our Registrar, he noted that we do not have an evidence for facilities equipment and process planning effectiveness. We have our plant/ manufacturing layout but he said that it is not enough. We should have a method to measure its effectiveness with corresponding data. This is where our problem starts. We do not have any data . Please help us on how to start the study with our existing layout (we have several injection machines). Thank you very much in advance.
