As Prof Bill mentioned in an earlier post "despite the inflammatory comments this forum is strangely quiet."

As the Editor in Chief of Quality Digest and author of the Salary Survey, I also find this somewhat surprising. I deliberately used loaded language in order to throw a bit of yeast in the pot.

But, like the sourdough starter I am trying to make, plenty of yeast but still no bubbles.

What's up do you think? Is the topic so old that nobody wants to discuss it any more? Beating a dead horse? Can't change it so why try?

It's not like there arent' a lot of underpaid women working in this field who haven't read this article.
