The company I work for is a family run shop and does not have the budget for the purchase of ring gages. We therefor manufacture our own. We have a program called Thread Tech which gives me the data forgage diminsions. Plug gages are fine with this method, however checking the pitch diameter on a ring gage is a problem. Do you have any sugestions other than screwing the gage on a certified plug gage. Thank you for your help.
