MIL-STD 45662A section concerning gage "calibration labelling" is very specfic concerning how gages are physically identified.
I am trying to determine if ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 has the same requirements. Everything I have found is very broad and general in describing method to label or identify gages.
Could anyone explain if there is any difference between the two standards regarding gage identification?
