Morning eveyone.

I need a bit of advice! I work for a company in the UK that operates a
fleet of modified road haulage trailers, that have had some pneumatic
conveying equipment installed to discharge bulk product into a silo at
customers' sites across Europe. I have been asked the question from a
customer wanting to know why we have not got a CE mark for the modified
trailer. All but one of the additional components installed has a CE
mark, the only one not being our own design rotary valve.

We have 370 odd trailers and many have been in use for over 10 years.
All of the trailers are the same in form, only having small changes
where a component has be updated.

I have done some extensive research/made enquiries but I am getting a
lot of contradictory information. Would anyone be able to offer me some
advice as to whether we need a CE mark or not? Or if anyone knows where
I might be able to find out I would be grateful.
